Margaret Hager became President of the SML chapter of Professional Women Resources (PWR), a networking group for businesswomen. 

April 2008
Construction is compete on our new building, and we have moved into it!!!!

October 2007
Plans are finally underway to begin construction on our new office building on Rt 122 near Westlake.   This building will allow for future growth and enhanced services to our clients.  After several years of planning, the building is in the final design phase.  Southern Heritage Homes of Rocky Mount, a premier modular builder, will construct the facility.  Ground breaking should take place in late 2007.     

August 2007
Phil Hager was honored with the Melvin Jones Fellow Award by the SML Lions Club. This is the Lions Club International Foundation's highest form of recognition to acknowledge an individual's dedication to humanitarian service. 

July 2007
Gavin Hager became President of the Rotary Club of SML for a one-year term beginning July 1.  

May 2007
Phil Hager Insurance Agency became a major sponsor of the Rotary Playground at the new Smith Mountain Lake Community Park. The donation helped build the structure for the playground designed for children 2-5 years old. 

May 2007 
Phil Hager Insurance Agency was appointed as an agent for Main Street America Group, locally known as National Grange Mutual Insurance Co.  The addition provides the agency with yet another Commercial Insurance Market.
